  • Brown beef, in batches, in a large oiled saucepan over medium-high heat.
  • Add onion; cook until tender.
  • Add tomatoes with liquid, mixed beans, A1 Steak Sauce and chili powder. Heat to a boil; reduce heat.
  • Cover and simmer for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.

Serve with tea biscuits or corn bread.

stir-fry beef (thin strips)
onions, sliced
red bell peppers cut into 3/4-inch-wide strips
yellow or green bell pepper, cut into 3/4-inch-wide strips
vegetable oil
cloves garlic, minced
salt & pepper

6-inch diameter flour tortillas
sour cream
shredded lettuce
diced tomatoes

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Wrap tortillas in foil. Heat in oven until warmed through, about 10 minutes. Turn oven off. Leave tortillas in oven.
  • Heat oil in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion & sauté 3 minutes. Add bell peppers & sauté for 4 minutes. Season with salt & pepper. Transfer vegetables to large bowl. Do not clean skillet.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in same skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef to skillet & sauté until cooked through, 3 minutes per side. Season with salt & pepper. Combine with vegetables. Add 1 bottle A1 Original or Zesty Steak Sauce & mix until heated through & combined.

Serve with tortillas, salsa, tomatoes, lettuce & sour cream separately.

Renée's Gourmet™ Naturally Light Roasted Red Pepper & Garlic Sauce
ground beef
cooked rice or 1 cup breadcrumbs
onion, chopped
green bell pepper, chopped
eggs, beaten
clove garlic, minced
salt & pepper
  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Blend A1 Steak Sauce with ½ cup of Renée's Gourmet™ Naturally Light Roasted Red Pepper & Garlic Sauce, with beef, rice, onion, peppers, garlic, and salt and pepper. Be careful not to over mix, as you will change the texture of the meat. Place mixture into a loaf pan (9x5-inch loaf pan)
  • Bake in preheated oven for 50-60 minutes. Strain off fat. Let stand on a cooling rack for 10 minutes before cutting.

Serve with extra A1 Steak Sauce.

  • Prepare barbecue or grill (medium-high heat)
  • Mix first 5 ingredients in medium bowl, (except sliced onions)
  • Divide meat mixture into 4 equal portions & flatten each to ½-inch-thick patty; season with salt & pepper, (or eight small burgers)
  • Grill hamburgers until done, brushing with A1 Steak Sauce
  • Place cooked hamburger on grilled bun, top each with a tomato slice, lettuce and onion and bun top.

Serve with extra A1 Steak Sauce.

  • Heat a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat
  • Place olive oil in a pan, and heat until hot.
  • Add onions, red peppers, and sauté until onions are translucent.
  • Add ground beef or turkey and sauté until well incorporated with onions and peppers.
  • Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add all spices and herbs, combine and stir for 3 minutes.
  • Add crushed tomatoes, A1 Steak Sauce and tomato paste.
  • Add beans and combine well. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking
  • Cook for around 1 and 2 hours. Or until desired consistency is reached
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.

Serve at once, or can be made up to 3 days ahead (refrigerate when not using). Reheat before serving.

  • Combine tomato sauce, A1 Sauce, vinegar, sugar, onion mustard, and chili powder; mix well.
  • Arrange chickens, cut side down, on greased medium-hot grill.
  • Grill slowly, brushing frequently, with sauce. Turn chickens frequently during grilling period (approximately 25 minutes or until chickens are tender and cooked).
  • This sauce is also ideal for basting duck, hamburgers and spareribs

Serve at once, or can be made up to 3 days ahead (refrigerate when not using). Reheat before serving.

Pork Ribs (Back or Side), trimmed of fat
water

  • Place ribs in pot of water. Let pot come to a boil. Turn down heat and simmer for 1 hour
  • Remove ribs from water and place in a heatproof dish
  • Pre-Heat grill to medium-high heat · Place ribs on grill. Turn ribs often being careful not to burn the ribs
  • Brush on A1 Steak Sauce™ to coat ribs
  • Remove ribs from grill when they just begin to come away from the bone. (30 min)
  • Place ribs on platter, let stand for 5 minutes before serving. Dip with extra A1® Original or Zesty Steak Sauce

  • Mix together A1 Steak Sauce, red wine, and garlic in a dish.
  • Mix together pepper and rosemary, rub into steaks
  • Place steaks on oiled hot skillet. Cook until desired doneness. Remove from pan and keep warm.
  • Add onions and mushrooms to same skillet. Cook until onions are translucent and lightly browned.
  • Add A1 Steak Sauce and wine mixture. Cook and boil for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Serve sauce over steaks.

  • Heat a large lightly oiled pot over medium-high heat. Brown steak on all sides.
  • Add remaining ingredients, plus A1 Steak Sauce to pot, stir well & bring to a boil.
  • Cover & simmer for 60 to 90 minutes, or until beef is tender.

Quick Tip:
If desired, omit red wine and use extra 1/2 cup (125 mL) tomato juice instead.

  • Place mashed potatoes into baking dish to form top layer.
  • Bake in oven at 350°F until potatoes are slightly browned about 30 minutes.

Renee's Naturally Light Creole Mustard
top round steak, cut into 1/2-inch strips

  • Mix A1 Steak Sauce, Renee's Naturally Light Creole Mustard in small bowl; set aside.
  • Soak 16 (10-inch) wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes. Thread beef strips onto skewers. Place kabobs in glass dish; coat with steak sauce mixture. Cover; refrigerate 1 hour, turning occasionally.
  • Grill or broil kabobs over medium heat for 4 to 6 minutes or until done, turning occasionally. Serve hot.

  • Season steak with pepper and salt liberally on both sides. Place in a plastic bag; add A1 Zesty Steak Sauce, turning to coat both sides. Cover; refrigerate for 30-60 minutes.
  • Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade. Grill or broil steak 4 to 6 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
  • Serve at once, or let cool and serve cut up on a sandwich or salad.

  • Mix together A1 Steak Sauce, soya sauce, and garlic in a dish. Add sliced steak, mix and cover. Keep covered in refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Heat a lightly oiled non-stick pan or wok over medium heat. Remove steak from marinade; reserve marinade. Add beef to pan, and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes. Remove beef from pan and set aside.
  • Bring pan back to medium-high temperature. Add onion and stir-fry until softened. Add other vegetables and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes. Reduce heat and cover for 1 minute. Add remaining marinade and coat all vegetables well.
  • Return beef to pan and stir-fry until beef and vegetables are hot

Serve immediately with rice or fine noodles.
