- Brown
beef, in batches, in a large oiled saucepan over medium-high heat.
- Add
onion; cook until tender.
- Add
tomatoes with liquid, mixed beans, A1 Steak
Sauce
and chili powder. Heat to a boil; reduce heat.
- Cover
and simmer for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Serve
with tea biscuits or corn bread.

Original or Zesty Steak Sauce
stir-fry beef (thin strips)
onions, sliced
red bell peppers cut into 3/4-inch-wide strips
yellow or green bell pepper, cut into 3/4-inch-wide strips
vegetable oil
cloves garlic, minced
salt & pepper
6-inch
diameter flour tortillas
sour cream
shredded lettuce
diced tomatoes
- Preheat
oven to 350°F. Wrap tortillas in foil. Heat in oven until warmed
through, about 10 minutes. Turn oven off. Leave tortillas in oven.
- Heat
oil in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion & sauté
3 minutes. Add bell peppers & sauté for 4 minutes. Season
with salt & pepper. Transfer vegetables to large bowl. Do not clean
skillet.
- Heat
1 tablespoon of oil in same skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef
to skillet & sauté until cooked through, 3 minutes per side.
Season with salt & pepper. Combine with vegetables. Add 1 bottle
A1 Original or Zesty Steak Sauce & mix until heated through
& combined.
Serve
with tortillas, salsa, tomatoes, lettuce & sour cream separately.

Renée's Gourmet Naturally Light Roasted Red Pepper
& Garlic Sauce
ground beef
cooked rice or 1 cup breadcrumbs
onion, chopped
green bell pepper, chopped
eggs, beaten
clove garlic, minced
salt & pepper
- Preheat
oven to 350°F
- Blend
A1 Steak Sauce with ½ cup of Renée's
Gourmet Naturally Light Roasted Red Pepper & Garlic Sauce,
with beef, rice, onion, peppers, garlic, and salt and pepper. Be careful
not to over mix, as you will change the texture of the meat. Place mixture
into a loaf pan (9x5-inch loaf pan)
- Bake
in preheated oven for 50-60 minutes. Strain off fat. Let stand on a
cooling rack for 10 minutes before cutting.
Serve
with extra A1 Steak Sauce.

- Prepare
barbecue or grill (medium-high heat)
- Mix
first 5 ingredients in medium bowl, (except sliced onions)
- Divide
meat mixture into 4 equal portions & flatten each to ½-inch-thick
patty; season with salt & pepper, (or eight small burgers)
- Grill
hamburgers until done, brushing with A1 Steak Sauce
- Place
cooked hamburger on grilled bun, top each with a tomato slice, lettuce
and onion and bun top.
Serve

ground cumin
oregano
thyme
canned crushed tomatoes
canned tomato paste
canned red kidney beans
canned chickpeas

Heat a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat
-
Place olive oil in a pan, and heat until hot.

Add onions, red peppers, and sauté until onions are translucent.
- Add
ground beef or turkey and sauté until well incorporated with
onions and peppers.
- Cook
for 5 minutes.

Add all spices and herbs, combine and stir for 3 minutes.
-
Add crushed tomatoes, A1 Steak Sauce and tomato paste.
- Add
beans and combine well. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking

Cook for around 1 and 2 hours. Or until desired consistency is reached

Add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve
at once, or can be made up to 3 days ahead (refrigerate when not using).
Reheat before serving.

- Mix
A1 Steak Sauce, Renee's Naturally Light Creole Mustard in small
bowl; set aside.
- Soak
16 (10-inch) wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes. Thread
beef strips onto skewers. Place kabobs in glass dish; coat with steak
sauce mixture. Cover; refrigerate 1 hour, turning occasionally.
- Grill
or broil kabobs over medium heat for 4 to 6 minutes or until done, turning
occasionally. Serve hot.

Add other vegetables and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes. Reduce heat and cover
for 1 minute. Add remaining marinade and coat all vegetables well.
